Autumn Equinox Ceremony, Hike & Sacred Fire

  • Heber Down Conservation Area 500 Lyndebrook Road Whitby, ON, L1P 2A2 Canada (map)

The Autumn Equinox is on September 22, 2022 and the New Moon is on September 25th. What better way to celebrate both than within community!

This Autumn Equinox and New Moon in Libra allows us to create space for reflection and gratitude around the ending of a cycle and the growth that we experienced. Like harvest time, it is a time to reap what we have sowed back in Spring. It is a time to reflect on the expansion and adventures of our Summer time. The new moon allows us to set intentions to bring in balance, harmony, alignment, truth, authenticity, and beauty within the upcoming winter season, especially in the realms of our intimate relationships and spaces.

We will gather on the earth and meet in the parking lot to circle up by a nice green spot for opening ceremony and then go for a hike. We will build a sacred fire by the Lake Ontario in Whitby at another spot that’s private. Anyone attending the sacred fire, please bring a chair or blanket and a sacred item for the altar.
