We Are Building Advocacy in the Community

Wellness knows no privilege and must include anti-oppression work. Yet, in reality, a lot of wellness services are often not available or easily accessible to our more vulnerable and marginalized groups within our community. Wellness must also include intersectionality! A term coined by Kimberle Crenshaw that means that many of these communities are faced with adversities within systems of oppression that may include race, class, gender and socio-economics.

We are changing that.

Wellness is integral to all of us – we do not believe that it is exclusive for certain social classes, privileges, races, or any other socioeconomic constructs we have created as a society. Wellness should be accessible to all, as real life tools to promote happiness and longevity are embedded in wellness.

We are committed to developing programs and workshops from an informed lens that has lasting and long term impacts within communities that need it the most.
